The modules

The content of the education is comprehensive and below we have given a very short description of each module.:

Module 1, day 1 and 2:  Basic genetics, cell knowledge, metabolism, immune system, digestion. Basic feed knowledge and the importance of nutrients in the body.

Module 1, day 3 and 4: Understanding of feed items and composition of feed. Teaching in feed items, their content and thereby nutritional value and also their value for the production of feed. Teaching in energy demands and energy calculation standards. Finally we cover declaration of feed including understanding feed declarations.

Module 2 day 1 and 2: Understanding the veterinarians approach to problems and illnesses for animals. General veterinarian work will be explained and focus is on how to support that work with nutrition.

Module 2 day 3: Short and sweet: Legislation. How is the market controlled by legislation and especially rules and regulations on labeling and marketing.
Module 2 day 4: Hormonal and neurological issues. Understanding the complexitivity of hormones and the influence i.e. stress can force onto the body.

Module 3 day 1 and 2: Understanding different alternative ways to persive the animal wellbeing. Among a bunch of subjects herbs, homeopathy, kinesiology, cranio sacral theraphy, healing and telepathy will be covered.

Modul 3 day 3 and 4: Understanding the wild ancestors and thereby understanding some of the problems we create taking care of the animals the way we do.

We embrase a broad variaty of animals during the education and are pleased to cover “all” species of animals. It is though our experience that prime focus from our students goes for cats, dogs and horses.
We have already tought about rabbits, chicken, snakes and reptiles.
Even if the subject for a part of the education might be on horses, a lot of the knowledge can be taken across to other species.
In the end a pancreas is a pancreas..

Qualification requirements.
Curiosity is probably the most important skill needed. Eventhough we sometimes dig deep into a subject, we always find space and time to make things make sense.
Teaching will be conducted in English.
